The Biological Safety Cabinet is classified as Class II Type A2 and designed according to the EU EN12469 standard. It utilizes an ULPA (Ultra Low Penetration Air) U15 filter to protect both the experimenter and the sample from external contamination in experiments involving infectious pathogens. The ULPA-U15 filter, with a retention rate of over 99.99% for particles as small as 0.12μm (micrometers), captures even smaller ultrafine particles compared to the 0.3μm particles that HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters can trap. This mobile benchtop unit excels in space utilization and has been developed in collaboration with filter manufacturer Madi Co., Ltd., ensuring filter performance with test certificates for all filters and ease of filter replacement.
